Ella Hanify receives Queen’s Service Medal

Ella Buchanan-Hanify, Director of Seraphim Choir for more than two decades, Lead Conductor/Director of Artsplash for 12 years and previous Head of Performing Arts at Chilton has been awarded the Queens Service Medal for her services to music.

Seraphim has won several awards at the Big Sing competition, toured internationally, and hosted overseas choirs. Ella has been awarded a Queen’s Service Medal for services to music.

Ella currently directs the Te Awakairangi Youth choir and continues to support Chilton as an itinerant music teacher.
