Cambridge Results – News Flash!

To everyone associated with Chilton – here is great news. The week prior to Term 1, we received our Cambridge results and we are so proud. During the first week of term, we held a celebratory assembly because there is so much success.

Firstly, everyone succeeded and the grades girls/boys  gained were an enormous achievement thanks to the hard work they and their teachers put in in a difficult year – no Cambridge did not mark easier – our girls rose to the challenge and we as a staff are delighted to share the following:

  • 100% of Year 13 students gained entry to Tertiary study
  • 80% of Year 12 gained entry to tertiary study.
  • Of the remaining 20%, 16% already have the points but delayed sitting English until Year 13. This is a remarkable achievement.

Last year was the first year we sat A Level and our girls rose to the challenge with the following highlights:

To add to this Emilie de Lambert came Top in New Zealand. There are hundreds and hundreds of students taking this subject and her achievement is so commendable. Well done to Emilie who worked incredibly hard and is very excited.

To absolutely make our week, the following students gained a marvellous surprise.

Congratulations to all students on their achievements – every student is a success. Thank you parents for the support given to Chilton with this qualification and the support you continue to give your daughters/sons. We will be sharing photographs of the Awards Ceremony held in Auckland later in the month.
