Farewell to Kathy Lloyd-Parker

Farewell to Kathy Lloyd-Parker

It is with a mixture of sadness and gratitude that I share the news with you that Kathy Lloyd-Parker has decided to resign as Principal with effect from the end of Term 2. We are sad of course to be saying goodbye to Kathy, but grateful for the 6 years of commitment and passion she has embodied as Principal.

Kathy has decided to return to Auckland, to Max and her wider family, and to fresh opportunity.  We know that she will maintain a connection with us at Chilton after her departure and that her final three months (Kathy finishes on 13 July) will be as busy and productive as ever.

The Trustees want to acknowledge Kathy’s contribution to the school and hope to be able to honour this more fully nearer to her departure date. She will be missed not only by us and her team, but by the wider Chilton community.

The Trustees are also committed to a seamless transition to a new Principal.  Chilton will write a new chapter soon – just as it has multiple times over the last 103 years – and we are all working to ensure it is a bright and positive one.

Kind regards

Richard Francis
