Sports Weekly Bulletin – 1 October

Kia ora

Despite a small blip in Term 3 with lockdown, Chilton Sport has had an amazing term of Sport.

Highlights have been, our Junior B Netball team winning their Collegiate grade, the Junior A Netball team taking runners up in their Collegiate grade. Our 7 aside Hockey team also runners up in their grade. Chilton took top school (based on medal placings) at the Wellington Aerobic Champs with most of our girls finishing into the medals, and or winning their category. We had a number of girls selected into the Hutt Valley Netball Representative squads. A huge response from our new Student Coaches willing to help out where they can. Thank you, girls. We can’t do this without you.

Thank to our parent helpers who coach, manage teams or transport teams. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I’ve saved the best to last – our Chilton girls! We have admired your determination to dig deep when needed, step up for your team, have fun and enjoy the sport you love. Looking forward to term 4 sport.
