Don’t our Chilton students love to play?!

That was the last heading in our Sports Bulletin and on Friday 19 November, our students proved that this was the case when Year 0-10 merged in their Houses and rotated through a wide range of sports and play based activities. The focus at each station was on maximum participation and maximum fun for all. By the look of some of these photos that outcome was certainly achieved! Aerobics/Jump Jam, free play, Cricket, Tennis, Badminton, Youthtown games and Football skills were all part of the Active Day followed by a much-needed ice block & sausage. Thank you Year 12’s for showing such skill on the BBQ! A real team effort.

Gear Amnesty

Over the year we have had a number of events paused and there are some sports singlets outstanding from cross country and gear bags from Term 2 sports teams. If you do have some CSJ singlets, gear bags lurking in your car boot or about home we would love you to drop it to the main office or to the sports office.

Wellington Weetbix Tryathlon

There is a clash with Primary EOTC and the Hutt Valley Tryathlon date but not with the Wellington event which is to be held in Hataitai on Sunday 27 March 2022. This is a parent led event but we have registered Chilton as a school group. To date we have 7 Primary athletes registered for 27 March: Isla Bryant, Natalie Westbury, Ruby Walker, Sophie Bryant, Sasha Chaplin, Avril and Ivy Cam. Well done girls. If your daughter would like to join them please click here to register.
