Preschool Weekly Bulletin – 10 September

It has been wonderful to have all the tamariki back onsite with us from Wednesday this week. Seeing all of the joy on the children’s faces as they reconnected with friends and teachers has been so heartwarming for us all.

Please be aware that a few updates have been made to our Alert Level 2 Protocols – these have been emailed to you and posted to Storypark. Please read through these to ensure you are up to date with current procedures and requirements.

Fortunately, we are now able to have our itinerant (Specialist) teachers onsite to deliver classes in Alert Level 2. Playball is also able to operate onsite. Please be assured that all of these providers will observe our school protocols for Alert Level 2.

I wish to thank the Preschool team for their dedication and professionalism over the past several weeks while we have been in lockdown. I know all of the hard work has been worthwhile as the children have been instantly settled and engaged in their learning onsite because they have kept up a learning routine at home. A big thank you to all our parents and whānau as well for contributing so much to support our online programme delivery – we really appreciate your commitment.

We look forward to lots of exciting learning experiences in the coming weeks as we head into Spring!
