Sports Weekly Bulletin – 20 August

Kia ora Chilton whānau

Well, here we go again. I hope you are all settling into your zoom classes.  All sport is on hold for the time being.

We will keep you up to date as information becomes available to us. Rest assured, at some point we will come back down the levels and be able to resume what you love doing – sport! In the meantime look after each other, be patient, take care and stay safe.

Aerobics

A few more results from the recent Wellington Champs.

  • Bella Woodrow – 3rd Secondary Novice Individual
  • Lyra Chopra and Megan Richter – 2nd Pre-choregoraphed Secondary Team

Congratulations to Elizabeth Hewitt and Elle Kane. They make up the Dynamic Duo. Lizzie and Elle competed at the Christchurch Regional Champs coming 1st in the FISAF Senior Duo. Elle also competed in the Senior Women FISAF category winning Gold. FISAF is the International Division of Regional events. Elle is looking for qualification for the World Champs.

Netball

Congratulations to the Junior B netball team. They won their Collegiate grade last Saturday.
This team has gone from strength to strength over the season. This team is coached by students Elizabeth Hewitt and Elle Kane.

All the very best to the Senior A Netball team. Their Final is scheduled for Monday 23 August.
Due to the Alert Level 4  this will quite likely get pushed back. Good luck for whenever this game can happen.

Golf

Congratulations to Erika Cui.  Erika successfully defended the Club Champ Title for 6/4 over 36 holes on Sunday August 1st on Boulcott’s Farm Heritage Golf Club.
