Our Curriculum - Dual Pathway

The Senior School curriculum provides a comprehensive and enriching educational experience. Grounded in academic excellence, our curriculum encompasses a wide range of subjects, offering students the flexibility to explore their interests while ensuring a solid foundation in core disciplines.

The senior school places a strong emphasis on critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent research, preparing students not only for academic success but also for the challenges they will encounter in higher education and beyond.

In Years 12 – 13 Chilton offers a dual pathway where students can choose between NCEA and Cambridge International education.

A Day in the Life of a Senior Girl

A day in the life of a senior school student at Chilton St James is a dynamic and purposeful journey marked by academic rigor, personal growth, and a vibrant sense of community.

The senior school curriculum encourages critical thinking, research skills, and independent learning, preparing students for the demands of higher education and beyond.

In between classes, students actively participate in clubs, sports, and leadership activities, fostering a well-rounded and leadership-oriented approach to education.

Lunch breaks and social interactions provide moments for building lasting friendships, creating a supportive environment where students thrive.
